We are small team seeking a dedicated and passionate person to join us as a Line Cook/Chef This role involves preparing and cooking a variety of simple dishes, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal person will have experience in food preparation and kitchen operations. Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards
Assist in the presentation and garnishing of dishes to ensure visual appeal
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Follow all health and safety guidelines during food preparation and handling
Support team members during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders
Manage stock levels, restocking ingredients and supplies as needed
Ensure all food is stored correctly to prevent contamination or spoilage
Contribute ideas for menu development and improvements

Experience
Experience in food preparation, cooking, and dish completion
Execution of food safety standards and hygiene practices is essential
Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting is necessary
Meal preparation techniques and culinary practices is desirable
Serving experience in a hospitality setting is a requirement
