We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our new cafe team. The successful candidates will play a vital role in food preparation and service, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained. Duties
Prepare ingredients and assist in the cooking of a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
Assist with meal preparation, ensuring timely and efficient service during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
Support the team in plating and presentation of dishes for service
Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
Assist with serving food to customers when required, providing excellent customer service
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications
Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is essential
Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
A genuine interest in culinary arts and customer service

2 days per week & 5 days per week;

3 days per week & 4 days per week.
Working days roughly 7am - 3pm, but some flexibility would be required.

Pay: 13.50-15.00 per hour
