We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Showroom Assistant with a keen interest in bathroom interior design to support the day-to-day operation of our showroom. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, has an eye for design, and is keen to learn quoting and showroom systems with full training provided. Would suit students looking for part time work.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers to the showroom and provide a friendly, professional first impression
Assist customers in exploring bathroom layouts, styles, and product options
Support senior showroom staff with basic bathroom planning, quotations, and system updates (training provided)
Learn and use internal quoting and ordering systems accurately and efficiently
Help gather customer requirements and prepare information for follow-up appointments
Maintain the presentation of the showroom, ensuring displays are clean, organised, and up to date
Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding to general enquiries or passing them to the appropriate team member
Assist with managing brochures, samples, pricing information, and product literature
Skills & Attributes
Genuine interest in bathroom interior design and home improvement
Willingness to learn quoting, ordering, and showroom systems
Friendly, confident, and professional when dealing with customers
Strong communication and listening skills
Good attention to detail and organisational ability
Reliable, punctual, and eager to develop new skills
Experience
No prior experience in bathroom design, CAD, or technical drawings required
Previous retail, showroom, or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential
Full training will be provided on products, systems, and processes
