KITCHEN SHOWROOM CONSULTANT - KITCHEN REFURBISHMENT - LOCATION Rawtenstall- 3 days per week - 6 hours per day - 13 per hour + Commission - Monday to Wednesday (this can be discussed) plus holiday cover.
Kitchen Showroom Consultant required for our client who are the UK's leading and award-winning Kitchen makeover company. Our client specialises in renovating existing kitchens instead of replacing, typically saving customers 50% of the cost of replacement.
Our client also offers the option of supplying and fitting a brand-new kitchen if the existing kitchen cannot be updated
Due to their continued growth and success, they are now recruiting for 2 Kitchen Showroom Consultants to work from their Rawtenstall Branch
THE ROLE
As Kitchen Showroom Consultant you will be the first point of contact for customers coming to the showroom
You will be showing customers the products and service on offer e.g. Kitchen doors, worktops, handles etc.
Arranging and booking appointments for a member of the team to carry out a home / site visit to take measurements etc.
Taking phone calls from potential and existing customers
Compile daily social media posts to ensure the continued exposure of the business
Following up internet and email enquiries
Helping customer choose colours, styles etc.
Ensuring the showroom is clean and tidy at all times
You will also be carrying out general admin duties e.g., quotations and other admin work as required
This is a Part Time role working 14-20 Hours per week / Full Time
Hours include Saturdays and additional holiday cover
Working as a part of a small team, helping out in all departments as business dictates
You will be working from the Rawtenstall Branch
THE PERSON
The successful Showroom Consultant MUST have similar experience in a role with significant customer interaction
You MUST have previous showroom sales experience e.g., Kitchens, Bathrooms, Bedrooms, DIY, Electrical, Home Furnishing etc.
You MUST be competent with social media
You MUST have a friendly disposition and ability to engage customers is essential
Enthusiasm for and a strong interest in home improvements
The successful candidate must be able to work independently, often looking after the showroom on your own.
Confident, able to convert an enquiry into a lead or site visit
Able to work during the weekend, Saturdays with additional hours as required
You must be IT proficient, able to use email, Word, Excel and the Microsoft suite
You MUST have excellent customer service skills with great customer facing skills
Hands on and happy to help within all departments
Live within a commutable distance to the Rawtenstall Branch
