Job Summary

Bassetts Chery Bridgend are seeking a professional and personable Showroom Host/Receptionist to join our new car sales showroom in Bridgend. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers, handling phone enquiries, and general administration tasks.

Duties

Welcoming customers to the showroom Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence professionally and courteously Utilise computer skills to update records, input data accurately, and manage scheduling using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar platforms Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and general clerical duties Support the team by maintaining cleanliness of the reception area and ensuring a tidy workspace

Experience

Previous office experience or administrative background is preferred Familiarity with computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is advantageous Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential Experience in data entry and clerical work will be beneficial Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times

Working hours will be 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work a possibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
