Job Overview

The Burning Question is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Showroom Sales Advisor to join our small team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and sales experience. We sell woodburning, multifuel and gas stoves, along with all the parts and accessories associated. We also offer an installation services. This position mainly involves dealing with our customers, either in the showroom or by telephone. You will also be expected to carry out many administrative tasks involved in selling our products.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Provide knowledgeable advice on product features and benefits to encourage sales. This will include stoves, fireplaces and accessories. Ensuring the showroom is well presented - clean, tidy, displays correct, fires on. Handle customer enquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Process transactions accurately using basic math skills for cash handling and till operations. Process sales orders, and follow up on any delays to keep customers informed. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail or sales is desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to adapt to any tasks required. Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and inventory management. The job also involves a considerable amount of administration. Previous computer experience would be helpful. A friendly disposition with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work up to 36 hours per week ( negotiable for the right candidate), but will include working Saturdays 9am til 1pm. This could also be a part time position.
