Job Overview
Showroom/Sales Support Assistant required for Dream Doors who are the UK's leading and award-winning Kitchen makeover company. Dream Doors is a family owned business who specialise in the makeovers of existing kitchens instead of completely replacing, typically saving customers on average 50% of the cost of replacement. Dream Doors also offer a design and install service for new fully fitted kitchens.
Due to their continued growth and success, they are now recruiting for a Showroom/Sales Support Assistant to work from their Showroom in Barnstaple.
Your role will be to assist the business owners, whilst ensuring a high level of customer service. You will be working within the showroom and will be the first point of call for all incoming customers. A part of this role will be working closely with the sales team to ensure that each stage of the sales process has been completed and customers are fully informed.
Responsibilities
Greeting walk in customers and contacting leads/online enquiries ascertaining their requirements and presenting the range of products available within the showroom
Booking sales visits with the customer and sales team
Assisting the sales team with reviewing delivery dates, worktop template and installation dates
Liaising with the sales team to ensure customer expectations are met and managed
Booking project post-completion appointments with customers and sales team members
Posting out brochures and following up on brochure requests
Being the first point of contact to customers engaging with them and always providing an exceptional level of customer service
Assisting in providing initial estimates for customers as necessary
Maintain customer databases and update customer records as needed
General showroom tasks such as managing samples, cleaning, taking deliveries etc.
Liaising with Delivery Driver, Fitters, Sub-Contractors as necessary
Potential for further development to senior roles for the right candidate
Requirements
Confidence in speaking to customers in person and on the phone
Exceptional organisational skills
A proven ability to engage with customers
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Applicant must hold full valid driving licence
No kitchen industry knowledge required as full training will be given, but this would be desirable
Customer Service experience would be desirable
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and internal CRM systems
Hours of work: Wednesday to Friday 9-5pm, alternate Saturdays 10-4pm.
Pay: 13.00 per hour plus the opportunity for overtime as required by the business.
