The Role:
We are looking to appoint a genuine and committed Retail Sales Assistant to be based in our Cardiff Store who will be required to engage with customers and other team members to provide exceptional customer service through their enthusiasm and knowledge.
You should have previous experience in a retail customer facing position in order to be able to drive sales and provide high quality customer service by identifying our customer's needs and giving accurate advice for their requirements.
Job description for Showroom Sales Assistant:
Using your experience in retail to deliver excellent customer service, providing product knowledge and inspiring customers
Building relationships with both trade and DIY customers
Working as part of a team to maintain showroom stock levels and store appearance
Resolving customer queries following Company procedures in a professional manner
Generating new trade leads through telesales
Manual lifting when required
Requirements for Retail Sales Assistant:
Available to work 5 days from 7 on rota (including weekends) - 35 Hours
Previous experience in a similar trade/retail role
Experience in providing customer service to the general public is essential
Friendly, helpful and confident with an engaging personality
Previous experience in bathroom and tile sales is preferred
You will be comfortable with dealing with a variety of customer situations in a professional manner
Ability to demonstrate energy, drive and a positive can-do attitude
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
Able to easily build rapport
Able to ensure a complete customer experience
