Job Description

Jim Lawrence are seeking an experienced Showroom Sales Assistant for their new London showroom, located in the heart of the Pimlico Road Design District, known for it's concentration of antiques and interior design shops. You will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the showroom and will provide excellent, professional, knowledgeable and personalised customer service.

Jim Lawrence has built a reputation for making high-quality lighting and home accessories, using traditional handcrafted techniques. The team has expanded greatly since the brand began at the kitchen table of Jim's farmhouse, but their ethos to nurture British craftmanship remains the same.

Key responsibilities -

Promote and maintain the Jim Lawrence brand reputation and ensure the showroom, stockroom, and all displays are presented to the highest possible standards. Assist with keeping the showroom, its facilities, and shop-front clean, tidy and up to date by following the pre-determined daily tasks. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. Create customer accounts, quotations, sales orders, sales returns, and maintain up-to-date notes on customer requirements. Address and resolve customer complaints and queries promptly and professionally. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Jim Lawrence products and processes to confidently offer customers creative and practical advice and recommendations when needed. Liaise with other departments within the company as required. Support Hadleigh Customer Service team as and when required to do so. Assist with other areas of the business as required.

Desirable skills/experience -

Flexible and able to multi task. Good numerical skills Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central and CRM Experience in a customer facing role Product and industry knowledge Passion for home design and interiors

Other information -

Contracted hours - Part time position (20 hours per week) rota'd over Monday to Saturday

Showroom location - Jim Lawrence, 94 Pimlico Street, London, SW1W 8PL

Showroom opening hours - Monday to Friday, 10:00am until 18:00pm. Saturday, 10:00am until 17:00pm.

Salary - 14,260 per annum, based on 20 hours per week
