The Opportunity:
We're looking for a motivated and personable Sales Assistant to join our team at Sonic Stone. Based in our showroom, you'll help customers choose from our premium range of natural stone products, deliver excellent service, and support day-to-day sales administration. If you're organised, friendly, and passionate about design and interiors and have proven successful high end sales experience, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering first-class showroom sales support, ideally with experience and knowledge in the natural stone and furniture industry;
Maintaining the showroom to the highest standard, ensuring displays are well presented and samples are well managed;
Meeting and greeting customers professionally, with the goal of securing sales;
Providing expert assistance to customers and handling queries in a courteous and knowledgeable manner;
Processing orders, preparing quotes, and managing related administration, including stock entry, invoicing, and delivery notes;
Monitoring product performance and stock levels;
Staying up to date on competitors and their product offerings to maintain strong commercial awareness;
Computer-literate (Microsoft Office, Email, and the ability to adapt new software quickly);
Requirements
Previous showroom sales experience (natural stone industry experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of natural stone products, finishes, and applications.
Excellent customer service and sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Excellent presentation with strong attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with retail clients, designers, architects, and contractors.
To have the ability to negotiate and close sales effectively.
Punctual, reliable, and highly organised with strong time management skills.
Proficient in sales administration, including quoting, order processing, stock management, and invoicing.
Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Ability to maintain an immaculate showroom environment that reflects brand standards.
Willingness to stay up to date with industry trends and competitor products.
Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Flexibility to work some weekends or extended hours if required.

Pay: 24,420.00-28,000.00 per year
