Job Purpose and Summary

Canon are looking for a Showroom Manager for our London and Birmingham showrooms. You will proactively drive the utilisation and manage the day to day operation of Canon UK\xe2\x80\x99s national showrooms to ensure the best possible customer/partner experience.

Set targets, standards and establish methodologies that will contribute to the achievement of B2B hardware & solutions budget.

Work as part of the Marketing Management team, and closely with Sales Management, to set the strategic direction and ensure the needs of Canon UKI\xe2\x80\x99s national showrooms are met.

What we ask

• Drive the proactive utilisation of the National Showrooms by working with marketing and sales colleagues. Including, but not limited to, customer facing events, seminars, open days, internal events and training
• Deliver end user/channel demonstrations of key technology to position Canon as the partner of choice
• Deliver a showroom experience that positively impacts the delivery of pipeline through the deployment of an end to end \xe2\x80\x98customer journey\xe2\x80\x99 through showroom facilities, including the capture of customer and sales evaluation
• Key interface into Product Groups to best represent Canon as a market leading technology provider \xe2\x80\x93 DP&S, ITCG, including engagement with Canon Group companies (Axis, Canon Medical)
• Actively manage and develop team members through coaching, mentoring, training and other defined processes such as performance reviews & personal development plan\xe2\x80\x99s etc
• Senior Location Management responsibility for London & Birmingham showrooms including full OPEX & budget management and relationship management with property landlords
• Performance tracking across all key KPIs & ROI calculation
• Compliance management of Showroom locations, including H&S & Sustainability
• Sales Channel engagement and management including showroom performance analysis and communication
• Contributor to the wider DP&S Marketing Management team

You will need

• Previous experience and successful track record in B2B Marketing, Sales or Professional Services within a Technology sector
• Passion for developing and coaching your team
• Experience working with direct sales teams and indirect partner teams
• Proactive self-starter, able to overcome obstacles and deliver within agreed timeframes.
• Blends creative approach with analytical substance
• Strong cross-functional and relationship building skills, being able to collaborate with multiple stakeholder across sales, support functions and Canon Europe
• Excellent communicator who can influence key stakeholders and develop compelling stories that resonate with the audience
• A passion for technology; to know how products, software and services come together to create and add value for our customers
