Store Manager
to take the helm of our thriving Shrewsbury store.
What You'll Do
As the Store Manager, you will be the heart of our operation, responsible for all facets of store performance and culture. Your core responsibilities will include:
Driving Sales:
Developing and executing strategies to meet and exceed ambitious sales, profit, and key performance indicator (KPI) targets.
Team Leadership:
Recruiting, training, mentoring, and motivating a high-performing team. Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment.
Operational Excellence:
Ensuring the store adheres to all company policies, visual merchandising standards, inventory control, and loss prevention procedures.
Customer Focus:
Maintaining an exceptional in-store experience, resolving complex customer issues, and driving repeat business.
Financial Management:
Managing payroll, store budgets, and analysing performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience:
2 years of experience in retail management, with a proven track record as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
Leadership:
Strong leadership presence and the ability to inspire a team towards a shared vision.
Business Acumen:
Excellent understanding of retail KPIs, financial reports, and inventory management.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility:
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
Awareness of apparel and footwear would be desirable.
