? Location: North Shropshire - Market Drayton & Oswestry Offices
? Rate: 28.40 per hour (MoU Capped)
? Hours: 37 per week, Full-time
? Working Pattern: Hybrid (some office-based work required)
? Driver: Essential
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join the North Shropshire Adult Social Care Team (Community Team). This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and experienced team, delivering high-quality social work interventions to adults in the community.
The successful candidate will undertake Care Act Assessments, reviews, safeguarding enquiries, and mental capacity assessments, while promoting independence and person-centred practice. You will work collaboratively with health and social care partners to deliver effective outcomes for service users.
Requirements:
SWE Registration (Social Work England)
Experience working in Adult Social Care (preferably community-based)
Good knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Safeguarding procedures
Ability to manage a complex caseload effectively
Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
