Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong surveillance skills, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents. As a Door Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with licensing laws.

Duties

Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the venue to deter and detect any suspicious behaviour or potential threats. Respond promptly to incidents, including conflicts or emergencies, while applying first aid when necessary. Enforce venue policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and licensing regulations. Collaborate with local law enforcement when required and maintain accurate records of incidents. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraudulent activities and taking appropriate action.

Requirements

Previous experience in a security role is preferred, particularly as a Door Supervisor or in venues and events is a must. Strong surveillance skills with the ability to remain alert and observant at all times. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with staff and patrons. A strong sense of responsibility and integrity, coupled with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively. Must have 1 year Door Supervisor Experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 40 per week
