Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff at our venue. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations with composure.

Duties

Monitor entrance and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the venue to deter and detect any suspicious behaviour or potential security threats. Manage crowd control during busy periods, ensuring a smooth flow of patrons while maintaining order. Enforce venue policies and regulations, addressing any violations in a professional manner. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when required. Utilise CCTV systems effectively for surveillance and monitoring of activities within the venue. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or fraud situations.

Skills

Proficient in first aid techniques, with the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. Experience with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and practices. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interaction with patrons and staff. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations diplomatically. A valid Door Supervisor licence is preferred but not essential; training may be provided for suitable candidates.
