We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires excellent observational skills, the ability to handle various situations calmly, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and security.

Duties

Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorised individuals gain access. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity. Operate CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to monitor activities within the venue. Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid assistance when necessary. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property. Maintain detailed records of incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts. Ensure compliance with licensing laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a security or supervisory role is preferred. Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques is essential. First aid certification is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally. A valid SIA licence is required for this position.
