Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, loss prevention, and crowd management. As a Door Supervisor, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with licensing laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

Monitor entrance and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the venue to deter potential incidents and maintain order. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property. Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the wellbeing of patrons and staff. Enforce venue policies, including age restrictions and behaviour standards, while maintaining a professional demeanour. Collaborate with local law enforcement when required, providing detailed reports of incidents as needed.

Skills

Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies. . Certification in first aid is highly desirable, with the ability to respond calmly in emergencies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people. Strong observational skills with attention to detail, enabling quick identification of potential issues. Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing difficult situations effectively.
