Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons and staff. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with licensing laws and company policies while providing excellent customer service. The Door Supervisor will oversee entry and exit points, monitor activities within the premises, and respond to any incidents that may arise.

Please note the main venue this role covers is The Loftus Club and Lounge. Other shifts at alternative sites maybe available. The role is predominantly Friday and Saturday evenings on a 7 or 8pm until close shift, if you are unable to regularly work these shift patterns please do not apply.

Responsibilities

Monitor the entrance and exit of the venue to ensure only authorised individuals gain access. Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid when necessary. Collaborate with emergency services as required during incidents. Enforce venue policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain a visible presence to deter anti-social behaviour and reassure patrons of their safety. Prepare incident reports detailing any occurrences or breaches of security protocols. During events assist with checking in attendees through ticket scanning and other ad-hoc duties.

Skills

Strong understanding of first aid procedures, with relevant certifications being advantageous. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Proven experience in loss prevention techniques within a retail or hospitality environment is desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patrons and staff members. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the venue's operational needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
