We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests while effectively managing any potential risks. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring entry and exit points, enforcing venue policies, and providing assistance in emergency situations.
Duties
Monitor the entrance and exit of the venue to ensure only authorised individuals gain access.
Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV to identify any suspicious behaviour or potential security threats.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and ensure the safety of both staff and patrons.
Provide first aid assistance as needed, ensuring that all guests receive prompt care in case of medical emergencies.
Collaborate with other security personnel to maintain a secure environment throughout the venue.
Enforce venue policies and procedures, addressing any violations in a professional manner.
Prepare incident reports as necessary, documenting any security-related occurrences for future reference.
Experience
Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operations, is highly advantageous.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and first aid certification will be considered beneficial.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
