Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and public. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points, ensuring compliance with licensing laws, and providing excellent customer service while managing any potential conflicts or disturbances.

Responsibilities

Manage crowd control during busy periods, ensuring a smooth flow of patrons in and out of the venue. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with local authorities as required. Maintain accurate records of incidents, access logs, and any actions taken during your shift. Liaise with management to report any security concerns or suggestions for improving safety measures. ID when appropriate

Requirements

Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred but not essential. First aid certification is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally. A keen eye for detail and the ability to remain alert at all times. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the venue's schedule. A valid SIA licence is essential for this role.
