Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through effective surveillance, loss prevention, and customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attentiveness and excellent judgement are essential.

Responsibilities

Monitor entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity within and around the premises Perform regular patrols of the venue to identify potential security risks or irregularities Respond promptly to incidents, including providing first aid if required, and liaising with emergency services when appropriate Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner, ensuring compliance with legal requirements Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities for record-keeping purposes Assist with crowd management during busy periods to ensure safety and order

Qualifications

Prior experience in security roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques is desirable First aid certification is preferred Strong observational skills with the ability to recognise potential threats or irregularities swiftly Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanour Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations diplomatically Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or unsociable hours as required
