Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role involves monitoring entry and exit points, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing exceptional customer service while deterring potential incidents.

Duties

Monitor the entrance and exit of the premises to ensure only authorised individuals gain access. Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV equipment to identify any suspicious behaviour or potential security threats. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property. Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals on site. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required during incidents or emergencies. Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with patrons, addressing any concerns or conflicts in a calm and effective manner. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts for management review.

Requirements

Previous experience in a security role or similar position is preferred. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems is essential. Certification in first aid is highly desirable. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during long periods of monitoring. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people. A valid SIA licence is necessary for this position.
