Requirements:

Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence

Minimum

3 years Previous experience working in pubs, bars, or nightclubs

Strong customer care and communication skills

Professional, reliable, and confident under pressure

Shift Details:

Primarily Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Weekday shifts may also be available

Flexible hours depending on venue and availability

Pay Rate:

Starting at 14 per hour

Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff at our venue. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Door Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with licensing laws and promoting a positive atmosphere.

Duties

Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises. Enforce venue policies and procedures, including age restrictions and dress codes. Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of patrons and staff. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required. Assist in loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage within the venue. Maintain accurate records of incidents, including any actions taken during emergencies or disturbances. Engage with patrons in a friendly manner to foster a welcoming environment while remaining vigilant.

Requirements

Valid SIA licence is essential for this role. Proven experience in security or supervisory roles is preferred. First aid certification is highly desirable. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and patrons. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the venue's schedule.
