Maintain a professional and approachable presence. Assist staff or visitors by providing information and ensuring they feel safe on site.
Reporting:
Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed incident reports. Log daily activities and irregularities (such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorised persons, or unusual occurrences) to inform management and enable follow-up. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders and provide them with accurate reports when needed.

Valid SIA Frontline License is required.
Experience & Training:
Previous experience in security or a related role is preferred.

Attention to detail
is crucial for noticing irregularities. Strong
communication skills
are needed to challenge unauthorised individuals politely but firmly and to liaise with clients, colleagues, and the public.
Customer service skills
are important, as guards often act as a first point of contact for visitors.

Good physical condition is required - the job may involve standing or patrolling. The ability to stay calm and
respond well under pressure
is essential for handling emergencies or stressful incidents.
Flexibility:
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as security coverage is often needed 24/7. The ability to adapt to different work environments (corporate front desk vs. outdoor construction site vs. busy event venue) is important.
