Job Description
We are seeking reliable and professional Security Officers to join our team on an ad hoc basis, providing cover for retail sites. This role is ideal for individuals who are flexible, proactive, and looking to gain experience in retail security. Successful candidates who demonstrate commitment and capability will have the opportunity to progress into a permanent security contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and antisocial behaviour. Conduct regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas. Respond to incidents promptly and in a professional manner. Support store staff and customers to ensure a safe shopping environment. Complete incident reports and maintain accurate security records. Work on a flexible, ad hoc basis covering shifts when required (including evenings and weekends).
Requirements:
Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guard). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle incidents professionally. Flexibility to work varying shifts, sometimes at short notice. Previous security or retail experience desirable, but not essential.
