Overview


We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring access points, patrolling designated areas, and responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies. Responsibilities



Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying identification and authorisation of visitors and staff. Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security breaches or hazards. Respond swiftly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including liaising with emergency services when necessary. Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and observations during shifts. Enforce company policies regarding safety procedures and conduct. Assist visitors with directions or information as required in a courteous manner. Conduct security checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or concerns promptly. Collaborate with management and law enforcement agencies to uphold safety standards.

Requirements



Previous experience in security or a related field is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively. Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must hold a valid security licence or be willing to obtain one as per local regulations. Physical fitness to perform patrol duties, including standing for extended periods and walking across large areas. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, or public holidays if required. A professional appearance and demeanour are essential for representing the organisation positively. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week
