Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Loader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading goods efficiently and safely, ensuring that all deliveries are prepared accurately for machining. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and mechanical knowledge, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team members and drivers.

Responsibilities

Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Operate various types of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. Assist in the organisation of inventory within the warehouse, maintaining an orderly environment. Collaborate with delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods. Conduct regular inspections of loading equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Communicate effectively with team members regarding inventory levels and delivery schedules. Follow all health and safety regulations while performing loading duties.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred. Valid forklift and preferably Side Loader license or qualification. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment operation and troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and drivers effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
