Vacancy - Side Loader Driver

We are currently looking for a reliable and safety-conscious

Side Loader Driver

to join our team in a busy sawmilling environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operator - or someone with a valid FLT licence who is looking to train into a new role.


Working as part of our yard and production team, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of timber products across our site using Side Loaders and other handling equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

Operating Side Loader vehicles to pick, move and load timber across our site Loading and unloading timber in a fast-paced production environment Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times Coordinating all necessary paperwork associated with picking. Keeping good clear written records of product details. Maintaining general cleanliness of the factory environment at all times. Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting issues

What we are looking for:

Sideloader licence or valid FLT Counterbalance Licence (minimum requirement) Willingness to train as a Side Loader driver (training provided) Previous experience in a timber or sawmill environment is an advantage Strong awareness of health and safety Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player High levels of accuracy and efficiency.
