Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining various components and systems in accordance with specifications and safety standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Interpret technical drawings and schematics to determine assembly specifications. Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Install fittings, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with industry standards. Conduct regular inspections of assembled products to ensure quality and functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to assembly or installation processes. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or engineering sector. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and assembly techniques. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to manufacturing environments. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
