Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Sign Fitter's Mate to assist with the installation and maintenance of signs at a variety of locations. You will support the Lead Fitter in transporting, preparing, and installing signage, ensuring all jobs are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of signs and installation equipment. Prepare signage and materials on-site as directed by the lead fitter. Help install a variety of signs, including vinyl graphics, fascias, internal and external signs, and illuminated displays. Ensure tools and equipment are kept clean, maintained, and stored safely. Follow health and safety procedures at all times, particularly when working at height. Work at a range of indoor and outdoor locations, sometimes in challenging weather conditions. Support site clean-up after installation is complete. Perform general labouring duties as required.

Skills and Requirements:



Basic DIY or construction skills (drilling, measuring, fixing, etc.). Ability to work at height Physically fit and able to lift heavy items. A team player with a positive, can-do attitude. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Flexible with working hours, including early starts and overnight stays. Full UK driving licence is essential.

Desirable (but not essential):



CSCS card PASMA or IPAF qualification Experience in signage or a similar trade (e.g., construction, electrical, shopfitting)
