Job Description

Benson Signs, part of LPW Group, are a Liverpool based sign maker established in 1969 who have built up a reputation as one of the UK's leading sign specialists.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced full-time sign fitter/ installer to join our fast growing installation team.

The role involves carrying out groundwork & installation of an array of signage for large bluechip clients within the construction industry. You will be working on building sites on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate previous experience within a similar role with excellent attention to detail and a desire to complete the job to 100% standard. You will also have excellent hands-on skills working with hand tools, digging equipment, access equipment and must have a good all-round knowledge of fitting/fixings/problem solving/DIY expertise.

Applicants must be prepared to work flexible hours due to the nature of the job.

On-going training is provided with the chance of gaining many career improving skills, such as IPAF/ PASMA/ SSSTS/ SMSTS/ Cat, Genny cable & avoidance & much more.

Salary:

The right candidate can expect an attractive salary which will also be negotiable depending on experience & qualifications.

Main Aims

Travel to sites throughout the UK, install a wide range of internal and external signage and graphics.

The role involves carrying out groundwork & installation of an array of signage for large blue chip clients within the construction industry

Key Responsibilities

Attend client sites to install various signage - both externally & internally Work on construction sites carrying out groundwork and installing free standing post mounted signage Install Illuminated LED/NEO Signage Vinyl Graphics/Wall Graphics Installing external Sign Fascia's POS Signage Flex Face Signage Drive to and from each job Abide by on site Health & Safety procedures Operate light machinery, access equipment and tools in accordance with industry standards Any ad hoc duty in line with the role.

Minimum Requirements

Experience in Sign Installation (Minimum 3 years) Sign Industry Experience Full UK Driving License CSCS Card with a minimum of 12 months remaining Knowledge of a wide range of materials and print media associated with sign graphics Strong attention to detail To work as part of a team to complete job tasks on time in line with client expectations. IPAD/ PASMA/ SSSTS/ Cat, Genny Cable & Avoidance (Not essentially but advantageous) Taking pride in the final result.
