Job Description

We are looking for a Sign Installer to join our friendly, professional team at Signs Express (Falkirk) to help with the installation of a wide variety of signage projects both internally and externally.

Location: Signs Express (Falkirk), Unit 2E, West Mains Industrial Estate, Grangemouth, FK3 8YE Salary: Range 28,000 - 35,000 per year, plus overtime dependent on experience. Working Hours: Full-time position, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm Travel: A full driving licence is essential.
The perfect candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude, be able to maintain our high standards of workmanship and quality, be self-motivated and be a good role model for the rest of the team. This job would suit someone who likes to see the impact they have on both our company and our client's business.

Duties Include:

Pre-Install assembly. Planning ahead based on the weeks work schedule. Liaising with production and sales staff. Interpreting briefs accurately with a great understanding of different signage and installation techniques. Following all company procedures and guidelines to ensure all signs are created/fitted safely and securely. Ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements are understood and followed. Taking responsibility for your own and others' health and safety when working. Always providing outstanding customer service to our clients and others. Assisting in-house production staff when required.

What we would like from you:

A positive can-do attitude. Be well organised and be able to work alone, as well as part of our team. Ability to problem solve on site. High standard of workmanship to ensure minimum snagging. Experience in the use of LED technology. The ability to interpret briefs accurately. IPAF/PASMA/CSCS accreditations (desirable but not essential). Clean driving licence. An understanding of the importance of health and safety.
