Job Overview:

We are looking for a experienced Sign Maker to join our team. As a Sign Maker, you will be responsible for creating and producing various types of signs using hand tools, power tools, printers and cutters. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with precision. You will be required to work at our office as well as visiting site to carry out surveys and installations from Steps, Ladders, Scaffold Towers and sometimes Cherry Pickers.

Contract Length:

Permanent.

Duties:

- Fabricate and assemble signs according to specifications, cut, shape, and prepare materials for sign production.

- Understanding briefs accurately with a good understanding of different signage and manufacturing techniques

- Applying graphics to a variety of substrates, including window graphics, digital wall coverings and vehicles at the office or on site.

- Printing, cutting and laminating vinyl.

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for sign production.

- Install signs at designated locations whilst working at height or ground level.

- Communicate with clients to understand their signage needs and provide recommendations.

- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within established timelines.

Skills:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience making and installing a wide range of signage and vehicle signwriting.

- Clean driving licence

- Experienced, adaptable, passionate, good communicator, highly organised, capable of both independent work and collaboration within a team.

- An understanding of the importance of health & safety

- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
