Job Description

Due to continued growth within the business, we have a full-time position to fill at our busy production centre in Gateshead.

Signs Express are market leaders and have been established for over 25 years offering a full range of services across the signage sector, supplying a variety of markets.

Ideally, you will have worked in the sign industry for 2 years covering a full range of skills and experience such as:



The ability to interpret briefs accurately and a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques.



Good attention to detail.



Experience of signage fitting on site would be an advantage.



Using vinyl plotters, large format printers, routers and laminators.



Be proficient in the application of vinyl onto a variety of substrates including vehicles.



An effective communicator to work within a small team.



IPAF/PASMA/CSCS/FIRST AID accreditations desired but not essential.



Driving licence is essential.



Responsibilities



Design and create custom signs according to client specifications. Install signs at various locations, ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting. Prepare surfaces for sign application, including cleaning and priming as necessary. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements. Adhere to safety regulations and obtain necessary permits for installation. Drive to job sites as required, ensuring timely completion of projects.
Successful applicants will be enthusiastic, able to work on their own initiative, flexible, a great team player, well organised and understand the importance of health and safety.

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
