, you will lead the planning, delivery, and development of a range of services and activities that support the wellbeing, independence, and inclusion of older adults in Walsall. Our current funding ends in March 2026 however we are seeking to sustain this provision, and we will explore options with the successful candidate.

POSITION: Silver Service Coordinator

HOURS:

25 hours per week

SALARY: 13.68 per hour (17,784 per annum)

WORKING WEEK:

Monday 10-4pm, Tuesday 10-2pm, Wednesday 10-2pm, Thursday 10-3pm, Friday 10-4pm.

CURRENT FUNDING END:

31st March 2026

LOCATION:

Manor Farm Centre and Rushall Centre

Key Responsibilities

Support the development of current and new social activities for older adults

Support with monitoring and evaluating service performance against the National Lottery Community Fund outcomes.

Support the promotion of the service widely through a variety of methods including social media

Ensure safeguarding, quality, and compliance standards are met at all times.

About You

We're looking for a confident and compassionate individual with:

Proven experience of supporting older people Experience of developing activities A sound knowledge of safeguarding of adults Strong communication skills A proactive approach to your work A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
