Role Overview

Golden Age Entertainment is hiring passionate singers and performers to deliver interactive entertainment sessions in care homes. This role goes beyond performing -- you will connect, engage, uplift and create memorable moments for older adults, including residents living with dementia, mobility challenges and physical or cognitive impairments.If you love performing and making people smile, this is the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver live singing and interactive performance sessions in care homes Perform nostalgic classics, Motown, Soul, Gospel, and feel-good sing-along music Encourage resident participation using props, call-and-response, dance, and storytelling Adapt performances to different resident needs and energy levels o Arrive on time, prepared, professional and ready to create smiles Represent Golden Age Entertainment with warmth, empathy, and enthusiasm Use backing tracks or a portable speaker for accompaniment Take part in seasonal events, duets, or group entertainment when needed

Skills & Qualifications

Essential

Confident singer or performer with strong stage presence Great communication and audience engagement skills Passion for working with vulnerable adults and older service users Reliable, punctual, and professional Comfortable performing solo or in small group settingsDesirable Experience performing in care homes, hospitals, schools, community events, or busking o Ability to dance, host, or play instruments (keyboard, guitar, etc.) Own performance equipment (Bluetooth speaker, microphone, tablet, etc.) Active social media presence showcasing talent (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram) DBS check (or willingness to obtain one -- company can guide you through the process)

Working Hours

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 30.00-45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
