We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Singing Teacher to join our performing arts team in Bath, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons for ages 6-16, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students' skills development. This role offers an opportunity to inspire learners and contribute to fun and engaging vocal classes and musical performances, with a commitment to build confidence through the arts. Classes run weekly, during after schools hours, and regular workshops are held during the school holidays. No weekend work required.
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in the area of singing and vocals
Teach group songs for annual productions
Deliver singing teaching for school holiday workshops
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues to develop cohesive performances
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and behaviour.
Support students' social and emotional wellbeing
Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions
Requirements
Relevant qualification in Performing Arts (or equivalent)
Proven experience in teaching multiple age groups
Proven experience in singing and/or teaching singing
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage diverse classroom needs effectively
Excellent communication skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
Passion for performing arts and student development within the industry
A proactive approach to creating an inclusive environment that promotes equality and diversity
