We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Car Transporter Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods using a flatbed lorry. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Duties
- Operate a flatbed lorry to transport Cars to various locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cars, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policy.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members to coordinate deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, prioritising safety at all times.
- Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly to management.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or B+E) is essential with "Drivers Card".
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations and loading/unloading procedures is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
