We are proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team.



Our 30-bed Stroke Unit provides comprehensive care for patients admitted directly from the Emergency Department to our Hyper-acute Stroke Bay. We support patients through every stage of their rehabilitation journey -- from acute care to discharge -- working closely with a skilled interdisciplinary team.

JOB PURPOSE:



To support the Ward Manager in leading the ward team and in doing so:



Act as a role model, demonstrating high levels of clinical expertise, leading, managing and delivering individual patient care.

Proactively promote staff development ensuring its relevance to the practice area and individual needs.

Facilitate a learning environment for staff and students allocated to the area.

Deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager, managing staff and physical resources effectively.
