Job Description
A Band 6 opportunity has arisen. Your job will be to support the manager in ensuring clinical audits are completed, stock management and ordering. Assisting with return to work interviews, appraisals and booking mandatory training. You will be expected to support junior staff with personal development on the ward assist them to co-ordinate shifts and carry out all expected assessments and tasks You will be expected to feedback any concerns to the ward manager or matron in a timely manner You will be expected to support the running of the ward in the absence of the ward manager , dealing with sickness, concerns or complaints and escalate accordingly.
The post holder must be able to actively demonstrate and proactively deliver effective and personal centres care, which is safe for the patient in a calm and compassionate to every patient at all times. This should be the core of all planning which actively involves the patient where possible. With the ability to escalate areas of interprofessional and multi-disciplinary care concerns to the ward manager, Matron, Deputy/Head of nursing or Chief nurse in a timely manner.
