Job Description

We are looking for two experienced Site Agents to join a leading highways contractor delivering multiple projects across the Solihull area. There is one position available for day shifts and one for night shifts, providing an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure schemes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
THIS ASSIGNMENT IS INSIDE IR35.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day (or night) site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and project documentation.
Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to maintain effective communication and manage expectations.
Monitor progress and produce accurate site reports for senior management.
Ensure materials and resources are planned and managed efficiently.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Agent within the Highways sector.
Strong background in drainage, earthworks, and general civil engineering works.
Thorough understanding of relevant health & safety legislation and quality standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Full UK Driving Licence.
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (desirable).
