About the Role



We are recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor delivering long-term water and utilities projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and secured work on a major water infrastructure programme in Rickmansworth, they are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join their expanding team.

This is a long-term opportunity offering excellent career progression within a high-profile project that will move into full construction in summer 2026.

As a Site Agent, you will manage on-site delivery across streetworks and pipeworks infrastructure, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities



Manage and oversee daily site operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery. Set out works, maintain survey control, and manage site engineering activities. Prepare and review RAMS, ITPs, and short-term lookahead programmes. Maintain accurate site records and ensure compliance with HSE standards. Drive high standards of quality, productivity, and value engineering. Collaborate effectively with project, design, and commercial teams. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

About You



Essential



Proven experience working on streetworks or pipeworks projects within water, utilities, or infrastructure sectors. Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering and construction processes. Proficient in total stations, GPS, and AutoCAD. Excellent understanding of Health & Safety, CDM, and environmental regulations. Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent). Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and quality-focused.

TWS/TWC

(Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator)

CSCS card

(appropriate level)

Cable avoidance, confined space, or first aid training (Preferred)

NEBOSH or IOSH

certification (Preferred)
