We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Agent to oversee and coordinate construction projects on-site, working on existing Electric contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in construction management and electrical experience to contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects. The Site Agent will serve as a key point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and the project team, ensuring smooth communication and execution throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Manage daily site operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and supervision of labour and subcontractors.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, company policies, and project specifications.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
Monitor progress against project timelines and budgets, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards or issues and address them promptly.
Assist in procurement activities by liaising with suppliers and managing material deliveries.
Maintain comprehensive documentation related to project progress, safety reports, and site activities.
Utilise electrical experience to oversee electrical installations and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Skills
Proven experience as a Site Agent or similar role within the construction industry
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills for liaising effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to construction sites.
Electrical experience is highly desirable to oversee electrical works effectively.
Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving on-site issues.
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Relevant qualifications in construction management or engineering are preferred.
