Site Carpenter / Fitter
Job Description
Make By Design are designers and manufacturers of bespoke joinery located in Yate, Bristol. Due to our expanding business we are currently looking to recruit a skilled, reliable Site Carpenter/Joiner.
We are looking for someone to do 2nd fix carpentry work, i.e. installing workshop built joinery items, and shop/kitchen fitting works, predominantly in Bristol, and the surrounding areas, however as the company continues to expand, working outside of Bristol, and the possibility of short term working away would be required.
Successful candidates must have previous experience in 2nd fix carpentry and joinery, preferably with a qualification. You must be self motivated, adaptable, passionate and competent in site fitting.
The role is available with an immediate start either on a self employed basis or PAYE.
Full clean UK driving licence is essential
Education: City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent, CSCS card essential.
