Opportunity

HVSS is seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Supervisor / Assistant Site Manager to join our team due to our expanding project portfolio. This role will be integral to managing civil construction activities and ensuring project success in the HV sector.

Job Role

Supervise and oversee civil engineering aspects of high voltage substation projects. Coordinate on-site activities to ensure compliance with specifications and civil engineering standards. Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor project progress and adherence to safety regulations. Collaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to resolve any technical issues and ensure optimal integration of civil works. Prepare and review site documentation, including risk assessments and method statements (RAMS). Ensure environmental compliance and address any regulatory concerns related to civil works. Lead and mentor site teams and junior engineers.

Requirements

Minimum SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme); SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) preferred. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience is desirable. Proven experience as a civil supervisor or assistant site manager in infrastructure or utilities, preferably in high voltage substations. Strong leadership and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Geographic location within 50 miles of Sandwich.

Salary

Competitive salary depending on experience.

Pay: 30,000.00-60,000.00 per year
