40 hours per week. Rotational shift pattern Monday - Sunday, 5am - 1.30pm / 1.30pm - 10pm

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Site Cleaning Supervisor to work on a key client contract in Belfast BT3. This is a working supervisor role, supporting the Site Manager and leading a team of approximately 15 cleaning operatives to ensure consistently high standards across the site.

The role combines hands-on cleaning with day-to-day supervision, staff coordination, monitoring standards, and maintaining strong working relationships with both the client and on-site teams. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid cleaning experience who is ready to take on increased responsibility within a busy, high-profile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake cleaning duties as required, leading by example in maintaining high site standards. Support the Site Manager in the daily running of the contract. Supervise, motivate, and coordinate a team of around 15 cleaning operatives. Complete regular quality checks, audits, and inspections across the site. Assist with induction, training, and ongoing development of the cleaning team. Ensure compliance with company policies, COSHH, health and safety, and site-specific procedures. Monitor attendance, performance, and daily workflows to ensure effective service delivery. Maintain accurate site records, reports, and cleaning documentation. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with the client and internal teams.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' cleaning experience (commercial or industrial environment). At least 1 year of supervisory or team leader experience (preferred). Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, COSHH, and health & safety requirements. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Ability to work within a rotational shift pattern. Good computer literacy, including Excel and internal reporting systems. Cleaning-related qualifications (e.g. BICSc) desirable but not essential.
