Main Purpose of the Role:



As part of the operations team, you'll be the go-to person for providing day-to-day support and coordination, maintaining high standards of safety, quality and operational performance, in line with company policies/procedures. Key Tasks and Responsibilities:



Provide support and cover for the Production Manager.

Provide administration support to the operational team within the milling, FHT, packing, warehouse and other site functions.

Organising and Coordinating production Maintenance activities on planned shutdown days.

Ensure stocks of packing consumables (i.e. pallets, bags, shrouds, etc.) are sufficient for production demands.

Carry out stock takes in accordance with requirements.

Submitting daily and weekly production reports and KPI's when needed.

Create and manage purchase orders using Microsoft D365 to support timely procurement and accurate financial tracking.

Organise the site deep clean schedules.

Carry out contractor Health and Safety Site Inductions.

Administration of contractor approval permits and other associated documentation.

Performing administrative support, such as filing and taking meeting minutes.

Serve as a point of contact for vendors and contractors, addressing queries and ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.

Ensure that operations align with organisational policies and standards.

Identify and suggest improvements to existing workflows or processes.

To assist with training and developing the site team.

Control the activity of the contract cleaning services used on site

To assist with internal and external audits, including traceability exercises and reviewing/completing non-conformance raising/closeout.

Be the go-to for any D365 support and issues.

Carry out H&S walkarounds and raise any observations/issues on Work Wallet.

Minimum 2 years' experience in an production / admin role, ideally within food manufacturing.

Experience with D365

Computer literate.

Good communication skills (Written and verbal).

Results orientated.

Organised and systematic.

Able to work to own initiative.

Attention to detail

Good understanding of H&S
