Alto Construct is a privately-owned, independent civil engineering and groundworks contractor with a strong pipeline of work with a range of Tier 1 & 2 clients. We undertake a diverse range of projects on a nationwide basis.
We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our team to work predominantly in the North West, with the initial project being in Bolton. We are open to applicants looking for either permanent or freelance opportunities.
You will be responsible for:
Setting out of all infrastructure on site, including drainage, roads etc.
Reading and interpreting construction drawings to ensure accurate implementation on site.
Producing volumes, measures and drawings.
Offering technical support to site teams, assisting with technical queries and issues and providing practical engineering solutions.
Carrying out appropriate quality control checks and/or inspections.
Maintaining accurate site records, such as built surveys.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
Experience of setting out on civil engineering and groundworks projects.
Proficient use of GPS equipment and LSS. Able to do 3D modelling in LSS.
Ability to read and interpret drawings.
An uncompromising approach to health and safety and contribute to a positive health and safety culture on site.
A commitment to delivering exceptional levels of quality, with an excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
The ability to take ownership for every engineering aspect of a project, solving problems and overcoming any challenges.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting, successful relationships with clients, suppliers, other contractors and personnel.
A valid CSCS card.
