Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a strong understanding of both electrical systems and excellent Mechanical skills and some knowledge of PLC and servo drive systems.

Duties

To perform workshop duties such as machine repairs and component manufacture. Troubleshoot and fault finding on a range of electrical and mechanical plant equipment. Provide technical support and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment. Responsible for improvements and reduction of downtime through increased efficiencies through your own ideas and input. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

A qualified multiskilled engineer to HNC and or NVQ Level 3. Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within a manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in using engineering software and tools relevant to site management. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen attention to detail. Welding and fabrication experience. Some knowledge of AC and or servo systems Ability to read technical drawings. 70/30 Mechanical & Electrical Work alongside and support the activities of all engineering contractors when they are on site.

Pay: 38,000.00-42,000.00 per year
