We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Site Engineer will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project specifications are met and that timelines are adhered to.
Duties
Manage and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
Utilise software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and Mathcad for drafting and design purposes.
Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with various teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Conduct land surveying and site assessments to gather data for project planning.
Prepare schematics and system designs for various construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers to monitor progress and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
Ensure that all materials used meet the required standards and specifications.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including daily logs and reports on project status.
Experience
Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry is essential.
Proficiency in CAD software is required; familiarity with ArcGIS is advantageous.
Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
Experience in land surveying techniques and methodologies is preferred.
Excellent mathematical skills for calculations related to design and construction tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of working independently when necessary.
